Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women concludes the activities of the first international academic forum for the elimination of violence against women.\nUnder the slogan: (Heavenly legislation honors you and Iraqi law protects you), the Women\u2019s Empowerment Unit at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, in cooperation with the Women\u2019s Empowerment Unit at the University of Karbala, concluded the first international academic forum for the elimination of violence against women, in the Presidency Hall of the University of Karbala.
\nMrs. Heba Salem Jawad, head of the Women\u2019s Empowerment Unit at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women, stated: \u201cThe opening of the forum was launched at the beginning of the last week in Umm Abiha Hall located at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women.
\nShe added that: \u201cThe closing activities included a speech by the President of the University of Karbala, a documentary film about the achievements of the University of Karbala, and a number of research papers presented by (Dr. Fouad from Anbar University) entitled Violence on the Basis of Gender, and a research (Dr. Margaret from Fanken University) entitled Violence.
