Under the aegis of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Director of Women's Affairs Division, Asst. Lect. Manal Abd Al-Amir,<\/p>

an educational and awareness raising lecture entitled: \"Literacy; A Step Towards Development\" was presented by Prof. Safa\u2019 Mahdi and Prof. Adnan Abd Al-Amir. Furthermore, the lecture which witnessed conscious participation of female students from the Education Faculty and Engineering and Information Technology Faculty, managed to shed light on the importance of literacy as a crucial tool in advancing societies, particularly on the empowerment of women and facilitating their active participation in economic, social, and cultural life.<\/p>

It bears noting that the initiative comes as part of the University's efforts to provide quality programs that contribute to community education and motivate girls to take on their leading roles in cultivating the future. <\/br> Translated by: Zahraa Salman, revised by Asst.
