Proceeding from its ongoing commitment to promoting environmental awareness and fostering sustainability, Al-Zahraa University for Women organized an educational event themed \u201cTowards Sustainable University Environment.\u201d The initiative was conducted under the steady aegis of<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, along with the supervision of the Central Committee for Environmental Awareness Programs and Activities.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Pharmacy Faculty hosted a scientific seminar that witnessed the attendance of a slew of faculty members and female students. The session was led by Prof. Dr. Ali Jaafar Al-Husseini, Chair of the Central Committee, who underscored the critical importance of integrating sustainability principles within educational institutions. Besides, Dr. Al-Husseini outlined the role of universities in imparting those values among students.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Asst. Lect. Hawra\u2019 Ibrahim Al-Shukurji delivered an enlightening lecture designed to equip female students with the knowledge and tools necessary to actively engage in environmental preservation and promote sustainability on the University premises.<\/p>\n

It is significant to point out that the University aspires, to encourage female student participation in environmental activities through such initiatives.
