\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAl-Zahraa University for Women participated in Iraqi Women\u2019s Day Festival, held under the theme \u201cIraqi Creativity: Challenges and Successes.\u201d The event was sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and supervised by Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized by the University\u2019s Women\u2019s Affairs Division.\nThe Festival garnered significant attendance, featuring prominent figures such as His Excellency Jafar Olcay Karakash, Turkish Consul General, along with a slew of university presidents from both public and private sectors, including Al-Zahraa University for Women. The event highlighted the accomplishments realized by Iraqi women across diverse fields, underscoring the importance of unlocking their potential and showcasing their creativity and innovative capabilities.\nIn his speech, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat University, stressed the crucial role of women in Iraqi society. He also affirmed that universities would always serve as supportive environment for every woman pursuing self-fulfillment. Besides, he added that each Iraqi woman represented a source of inspiration and a driving force towards a brighter future. Al-Zubaidi pointed out that such events provided significant platforms to extend support and empowerment for women across all scientific and professional fields.\nFor her part, Prof. Dr. Nada Al-Aboudi, Director of Women\u2019s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, commended Iraqi women on their contributions to academia and professional fields, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives as they threw light on their accomplishments. She also affirmed the Ministry\u2019s continuous support for women\u2019s empowerment in education and scientific research.\nFurthermore, Dr. Al-Zubaidi noted that the Festival witnessed the participation of 35 companies specializing in technology, engineering, artificial intelligence, medicine, as well as education, offering job opportunities across diverse fields and provinces. The event also included 11 public and private universities.\nIt goes without saying that Al-Zahraa University for Women\u2019s active participation in the Festival reflected its commitment to supporting and empowering women in all fields.
