\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn response to an invitation from the Iraqi Council of Ministers to attend the National Women's Conference, the Women's Affairs Unit at Al-Zahraa University for Women, represented by Asst. Lect. Manal Abdul Amir Ilyan, participated in the conference entitled \"The National Team for Iraqi Women\u201d. The event was in presence of Her Excellency Ms. Taif Sami, Minister of Finance, and Dr. Shahbaa Al-Azzawi, Advisor to the Council of Ministers for Women's Affairs and Head of the National Team for Iraqi Women.\nThe conference aimed to highlight women's rights in Iraqi laws and Constitution, address such social challenges as family violence and early marriage, and explore opportunities for economic, intellectual, and political growth with a view to enable women to partake in decision-making. \nThe conference served as an effective platform for the discussion of critical issues concerning Iraqi women. It also contributed to finding practical solutions that supported women's empowerment, emphasizing the need to implement the recommendations to ensure tangible progress in this field. \n
