With support and backing from the general secretariat of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein and perseverance and guidance by the University President Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, Al-Zahraa University for Women has clearly accomplished major strides forward leading to remarkable progress in the global rankings at the sustainable development classification UIGreenMetric2023. The University ranked 26th among Iraqi universities and 719th globally in the latest version of the classification.
\nThe University received an invitation to participate for the first time in all of (Times) classification sets:
\nTHE Impact 2024
\nTHE WUR2025
\nTHE Asian Universities
\nTHE for Arab Region
\nThis invitation and data provision are considered meaningful steps in the right direction towards registration within the resident institution status and cumulative consideration of the University\u2019s data after five annual participations.
\nMoreover, the University participated with
\nthree projects in the Korean classification WURI2024.
\nWe await the results of this classification next June.
\nFinally, the University was awarded international license by the external audit program and three stars by QS Star Rating institution.\nIt is noteworthy that the University received five stars in this evaluation\u2019s educational process\n\n
