Sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and in the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Alaa Dhiaa El-Din, the President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haider Fouad, and under the aegis of the President of Al-Zahraa University, Prof. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and the management of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Noor Al-Dabbagh, Al-Zahraa University for Women ushered in the activities of the first international conference under the motto \"Medical Research between Theory and Practice\" in partnership with Uruk Factory for Medicines and Medical Supplies on Saturday, 2\/3\/2024 in the central conference hall of the university.<\/div>\n

The conference witnessed a high-level of academic presence particularly by presidents of several Iraqi universities and deans of faculties of pharmacy, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific figures from Germany, Algeria and Iran.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In her speech, the President of the University welcomed the attendees, stressing the university's endeavors to open horizons of cooperation with all scientific bodies and academic institutions, praising the role of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and the support of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, to the scientific and academic process at the university.<\/div>\n

For her part, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy explained that the Medical Research and Pharmacy Conference aims to support the research movement in the field of pharmaceutical industry and medical supplies, identify the most important developments in the pharmaceutical industries, determine their characteristics, and the possibility of benefiting from theoretical research and its application.<\/div>\n

It is noteworthy that the opening session of the conference, witnessed lectures and research presentations in the field of medicines and medical supplies, as well as the participation of many attendees who asked questions about the participating research. The session was followed by the exhibition of posters and pharmaceutical products in the middle courtyard of the university, after which the research sessions were held in the halls of the Faculty of Pharmacy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
