Under the aegis of the Minister of the Higher Education and Scientific Research and the supervision of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine as well as the leadership of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Al-Zahraa University for Women organized its First International Conference under the motto \"Arab Impact on Enriching Theoretical and Applied Sciences\". Furthermore, the event was attended by Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University and Prof. Dr. Munir Salem, Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs. The first Conference of the Education Faculty at Al-Zahraa University was also held thanks to the collaboration with the Universities of Mosul and Milan. The event took place on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the University Central Conference Hall.<\/div>\n

The Conference began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by Al-Fatiha recited in memory of the martyrs of Iraq and Palestine succeeded by display of the National Anthem. The President of Al-Zahraa University delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees, which included university presidents, their deputies and academic delegations. She emphasized the importance of earnest efforts to support the movement of scientific and intellectual research and the focus on scientific conferences and seminars with the aim of developing the scientific sector, advancing research orientation in our beloved country and opening up to advanced international experiences.<\/div>\n

On his part, Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha delivered a statement on behalf of the University of Mosul, followed by a statement by Prof. Dr. Iman Bahia, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Al-Zahraa University for Women. Consequently introductory videos were presented by Al-Zahraa University, the University of Mosul as well as the University of Tikrit. That segment was followed by an opening lecture on the Arabic language delivered by Prof. Dr. Saeed Al-Zubaidi from Faculty of Education at Nizwa University (Sultanate of Oman). Next came the lecture on mathematics, presented by Prof. Dr. Nizar Hamdoon, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Mosul. Finally, the opening session concluded with a lecture on the English language delivered by Prof. Dr. Mais Faleeh Hassan from the University of Babylon.<\/div>\n

The first day of the conference concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates of appreciation to the participants by the presidency of Al-Zahraa University in addition to hospitality services were extended to the attendees. Furthermore, the two day conference featured a variety of cultural events hosted at Sayyid Al-Awsia City, affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
