\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe College of Health and Medical Technologies \/ Department of Radiology Technologies at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) held a scientific course entitled: (Using Alternative Medicine for a Healthy Lifestyle), presented by the ladies: Asst.Lecturer Afrah Kamel Zabeel and Asst.Lecturer Asmaar Aqeel Husain for three consecutive days at the hall for the Department of Radiology Technologies.\nThe course included an introduction to alternative medicine, which is the treatment of diseases away from traditional medicines with a chemical composition. Alternative medicine uses different materials and means of treatment such as herbs, food, massage, meditation and Chinese acupuncture.\nHerbal treatment is a widespread tradition in the Arab and Eastern countries in particular. Alternative medicine has various types, including acupuncture, cupping therapy, energy therapy, chiropractic medicine, touch therapy, herbal alternative medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and yoga medicine.\n\nThere is also a relationship between the elements of the universe (air, water, earth, and fire), and the elements of the human body (blood, yellow bile, black bile, and phlegm). Alternate medicine deals in the in depth understanding of this relationship and accordingly researches about the possible healing methods for the human body.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
